Castello di Bornato

The historical visit to Bornato Castle is led by a local guide and includes a tour of the internal rooms of Villa Orlando, a rare example of a Renaissance villa within medieval walls, as well as a passage through the ancient underground walkways. After admiring the Italian garden with its centenary trees and the view from the terrace, the visit continues to the private chapel at the foot of the tower, and finally to the ancient cellar of the Castle, which was active until the 2000s and is now a museum. The visit concludes with a tasting of a glass of Franciacorta Brut produced by the Castle's agricultural company. The timing of the visit may vary slightly. Minors are free of charge.

Here in the evocative surroundings the degustation of a glass of Franciacorta Castello di Bornato and the possibility of buying wines. Followed by a lunch in the former stables of the castle attached to the walls and surrounded by vineyards at the Ristorante La Dama Bianca. Menu consisting of earthy appetizer, a traditional Brescian main course, house dessert, 1 bottle of Curtefranca Rosso or Curtefranca Bianco wine for every 2 people, water and coffee. Price 70€ . Minors will only pay for what they eat directly on site.
