Visit the Castle of Bornato, the interior halls of Villa Orlando, a rare example of a Renaissance villa within medieval walls. Discover the ancient underground walkways and, after admiring the Italian garden with its centenary trees and the view from the terrace, continue with a visit to the private chapel at the foot of the tower. The visit concludes with a passage through the ancient cellar of the Castle, which was active until the 2000s and is now a museum, where you will enjoy a tasting of a glass of Franciacorta Brut produced by the Castle.

Then continue your experience at the ancient stables of the Castle, where the "La Dama Bianca" restaurant now stands. Enjoy a unique culinary experience, including:

- 1 glass of Franciacorta Brut produced by the Bornato Castle farm

- 3 tapas of your choice

Water and cover charge included.

The visit takes place at 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM and lasts about 1 hour.

The restaurant is open until 8:30 PM.

Minors are free for the tour, they will pay for what they consume at the restaurant.

In the Hart of Franciacorta the Castle of Bornato open his frescoed rooms, its garden rich of secular trees to visitors. You will see the towers, the hight walls and relive the atmosphere of cruel mediaeval battles and, inside the Villa, the splendor of the Italian Renaissance. A spectacular view of the plain of Lombardy to the South and the Prealps to the North. The same view that Dante Alighieri, many times a visitor here, greaty appreciated.

Sabato 14 marzo con un gruppo di 8 persone abbiamo partecipato ad un evento che prevedeva la Visita al Castello e poi la degustazione presso il Ristorante Dama Bianca (che non c'è stata ) Già appena arrivati all'ingresso non risultava nemmeno la nostra prenotazione tanto che abbiamo mostrato la stampa della conferma di avvenuta prenotazione e il relativo pagamento. Una volta finita la visita abbiamo chiesto chiarimenti se era finita così l'esperienza, ci è stato confermato che era finita. Quindi non trovando nessuna indicazione per il Ristorante Dama Bianca e nessun suggerimento da parte del personale presente siamo usciti e partiti per il nostro Hotel. Dopo 20 minuti che eravamo partiti ci hanno chiamato dal Ristorante Dama Bianca per sapere dove eravamo? Tra lo stupore mio e dei miei amici e la delusione abbiamo spiegato l'accaduto! Sarebbe stato bello almeno vista la cifra pagata ci avessero dato la possibilità di tornare il giorno seguente CONSIGLIAMO organizzatevi meglio!!!

In occasione delle giornate "cantine aperte" ho scelto di visitare il castello di Bornato ed è stata una vera sorpresa. La guida che ci ha accompagnato nel tour guidato al castello è stata eccezionale: preparata e per niente noiosa. Al castello si respira un'atmosfera unica, suggestiva e di pace. Si percepisce che la famiglia e il team sono in perfetta armonia e rendono l'ambiente accogliente e piacevole Vino ottimo e una vera chicca! Consigliatissimo!
