Campo di Mansueto Chianti Classico
Cantina Oliviera
Product information
Here, Sangiovese and a small proportion of Ciliegiolo embody the finest expression of tradition and continuity. The Bandini family's deep connection with the land is reflected in this wine, which evokes aromas and flavours from the past.
The grapes are harvested by hand and brought to the winery without delay. After careful selection, they are destemmed, and the whole berries are transferred to temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Fermentation does not exceed 24-25°C; during this stage, pump-overs and délestage allow for a gradual, gentle extraction of colour and tannins that are never aggressive.
At the end of fermentation, the grape skins are gently pressed, and only the first press fraction is blended with the free-run wine.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred by January into French oak tonneaux to enhance its complexity and create a harmonious balance between red-fruit aromas and the spicy, sweet notes of oak. It then completes its ageing in stainless steel.

Host information
A vineyard. A winery. A family.
L'Oliviera originates from the land of Chianti Classico and a family that has worked it for generations. In Vagliagli, where the dry soil and climate define the character of Sangiovese, every decision starts from the vineyard — because that's where quality is built, even before entering the winery.
Our work follows the rhythm of the land, not the market. We produce Chianti Classico, Riserva, and Gran Selezione, and an extra virgin olive oil handpicked when the olive is still green. Only attention, continuity, and respect for what this territory can offer.
We believe that authenticity is not declared — it is shown. In the wine that changes year after year but always remains recognizable. In the hospitality that has the rhythm of a family home, not a facility. In the fact that those who come to L'Oliviera find a genuine place, where the glass tells the same story as the vineyard seen from the window.
This is our way of working. And it's the only one we know.
