Colline Novaresi DOC Nebbiolo represents an authentic masterpiece of the Piedmontese lands of Borgomanero and Cureggio, located in the province of Novara. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, this 2011 vintage is distinguished by its deep ruby red color, reflecting the depth and concentration of Nebbiolo.
On the nose, the wine offers an intense and distinctive bouquet, dominated by floral notes and a complex array of red fruits, including cherries, morello cherries, blackberries, black cherries and plums, giving the bouquet an exceptional aromatic richness.
The taste is extraordinarily structured, with robust tannins that give the wine a remarkable presence in the mouth. The pleasant lingering aftertaste confirms the quality and elegance of this Nebbiolo, which is characterized by a complexity that is developed through aging inAllier oak casks for18 months, followed by an additional 6 months in barriques. This aging process helps to further enhance the wine's structure and complexity, while a minimum of9 months of bottle aging allows its distinctive characters to fully integrate.
Colline Novaresi DOC Nebbiolo has received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal at the 2015 New York International Wine Competition, 4 bunches from the Bibenda Guide and the Calice d'Oro Certificate of Merit in 2020. These awards testify to the superior quality of this wine, which is an authentic and refined expression of Nebbiolo from the Novara hills, ideal for lovers of structured and complex wines.

Someone said that in a glass of wine there's a man's life... for us it's much more than that. We are a small winery with a long history, located in the area of Upper Piedmont.
Four generations of Zanetta spent in the vineyards and cellars. Since the last years of 1800 the families of Elena's great-grandparents' great-grandparents used to go with carts to work in the vineyards of Cureggio and then transform in their cellars and then resell an excellent product. Later Elena's grandparents, Angelo and Angela, with more modern means and partly renewing the cellars, continued these activities assisted, since he was a boy, by his son Giuseppe; a life of work, his, made with great enthusiasm and always supported by an inexhaustible passion. In the last years of 1900 Giuseppe realized one of his dreams: to replant and expand the ancient vineyard of Cureggio.
Hard work, constant commitment and great passion without ever giving in to adversity, not only atmospheric, have led to the realization of the current reality: "Madonna dell'Uva". We have been producing, for four generations, excellent red wines, rare, well balanced, native and pure.
Our company is located in the municipalities of Cureggio and Borgomanero, in the province of Novara. We want to introduce you our wines not only because they are really good, but also because they represent a typical regional rarity.
The wines produced are all pure Colline Novaresi D.O.C. wines.
