POSÀ - PINOT NERO IGT DELLE DOLOMITI 0.75 LT

The Posà Pinot Nero IGT delle Dolomiti is a proud and refined expression of high-altitude viticulture in the Val di Cembra. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown at altitudes of between 500 and 600 metres with an optimal south-facing aspect, it derives its extraordinary complexity from deep soils rich in porphyry and clay.
Harvested strictly by hand with low yields, it is the result of meticulous winemaking involving cold maceration and fermentation in a combination of amphorae, wooden barrels and steel tanks. Its long journey continues with 12 months’ ageing in small French oak barrels, ensuring longevity and an ageing potential of over 10 years. Visually, it displays an elegant ruby-red colour; on the nose, it offers an intense and inviting bouquet of red berries. On the palate, it is full-bodied, well-structured and rich, balanced by a fresh savouriness and soft, enveloping tannins.
A red wine of excellence, ideal for pairing with rich and succulent dishes such as red and white meats, roasts, fillet, lamb and game birds. Serve at 6–8 °C.

Stone and Vine: The Union of Our Land.

Ours has always been a harsh and rugged land, where the vineyard meets the porphyry, the red gold of the valley, which for generations has been a source of work and sustenance. Among extreme slopes and over 700 kilometers of dry stone walls made of porphyry stone, descending to the Avisio stream with drops of up to 600 meters, our project arises. It is in this perfect meeting between the craftsmanship of the stone setter and the art of viticulture that the soul, pride, and strength of Tenuta Gottardi reside.
