The Bolgheri Doc extends from the medieval village of Bolgheri continuing towards Castagneto Carducci through the Bolgheri wildlife oasis, recognized as a wetland of international interest.

In this area the fine wines of Bolgheri are born: Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Guado al Tasso.
