Pagnana invites you to discover the history of Chianti as a fine wine. The guided tour begins with an explanation of the vineyards and the varieties cultivated, and how these, along with altitude, soil characteristics, microclimate, and winemaking choices, influence the style of our production. Then continue with a visit to the production cellar, the barrel room, and the old cellar, which is located beneath the medieval tower that outlines the profile of Fattoria Pagnana.

Immersed in the beauty of the Florentine hills, the Fattoria Pagnana, a renowned destination for tasting Chianti, is located just 15 kilometers from Florence. For more than half a century, the Breschi family has passionately managed this winery, committing itself to the cultural traditions of the area and to sustainable agriculture, producing quality wine and olive oil labels.
The Pagnana Farm covers 240 hectares, with about 30 dedicated to vineyards and 40 to olive groves. Situated between 200 and 250 meters above sea level, the property boasts a variety of east/south-east facing soils, characterized by a good temperature range, ideal for the production of Chianti from the Florentine hills.
Wine and oil production is not only a matter of tradition, but also a commitment to sustainability and innovation. The Pagnana winery is dedicated to winemaking that is attentive to modern practices and respects the identity of the area and its pedoclimatic characteristics.
In recent years, three women from three different generations of the family have worked to bring a more feminine touch to production, looking to the past to enhance the aspects that make Pagnana unique: love of the land, tradition and innovation.
