Umbria White IGT

Trebbiano, Grechetto and Chardonnay that give origin to Batticoda come from a steep, stony and sunny vineyard. Thanks to the particularity of the territory already at the end of August the grapes show the characteristic perfumes of this wine.

Between Tuscany and Umbria, in this border "crest", 500m above sea level, where the characteristic Orvieto's soils combine with the particular climate of the high hills of Lake Trasimeno where the north wind dominates in winter and the lake mitigates the summer heat, stands the estate owned by the Counts Spalletti Trivelli.

Pomario is a small hillock very bright and isolated from the rest of the territory by a thick forest that surrounds it and that slopes down to the bottom of the valley to the river Nestore. Vigenti and olive groves have always been cultivated according to the dictates of organic farming.
