Boca, historical denomination and first wine produced by the company, is composed of 70% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina and 10% Uva Rara. It rests for three years in large oak barrels to process its complexity and then ages for a further 12 months in bottle. With a red color tending to garnet, our Boca "Vigna Cristiana" has a bouquet of red fruits and spices, a perfect balance between tannins and acidity due to the soil. It goes very well with risottos and first courses, but also with second courses of meat, game, cold cuts and mature cheeses.

Boca is a very long-lived wine that can be over twenty years old in perfect shape.

Podere ai Valloni was the first company to be registered as a producer of Boca DOC. The historic Ca' Finazzi, in fact, began producing Boca in the 18th century.
The Boca DOC was born in 1969 but, unfortunately, after a few years the vineyards disappeared from most of the hills of the area.
In 1980 Guido and Cristiana Sertorio acquired the winery and started producing Boca DOC again. Luigi Veronelli was the first to talk about our wine in 1987, exalting its qualities in his magazine EV.

From the beginning, Podere ai Valloni has not only been a wine company, but a 'vineyard garden' cultivated with the utmost respect for the surrounding environment. We have been practicing organic farming since 2011 and in 2014 we obtained certification from the ICEA institute.
Today, Anna and her husband Andrea carry on the dream of the founders, together with the new generation that is slowly growing: to cultivate a beautiful vineyard and produce excellent wines.

The wines are produced exclusively with the grapes of our own production, thus allowing complete traceability. The yield per hectare is only 40q, although in the area it is allowed to reach 90q. This is because we make an accurate selection in every step of the production cycle, giving priority to quality rather than quantity.
