One of the oldest wineries in Tuscany, Selvole produces about 80,000 bottles of wine each year. Most of the vineyards are located in the small valley between Selvole and Brolio, where Chianti Classico was born 300 years ago.
Of the 16 hectares of vineyard that Selvole cultivates, half has been recently planted at very high density with Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
