Training system: Marsala-style bush vine or espalier, in dry conditions
Colour: Typical amber
Aroma: Ethereal, intense
Flavour: Full-bodied, persistent, with a bittersweet undertone derived from the cooked must
Ageing: At least 2 years in old barrels, in tuff caves
Characteristics: Can be kept for several years. Even once opened, it retains its organoleptic characteristics over time thanks to its alcohol content.
Sugar content: 20 g/l
Alcohol content: 18.5% vol.
Available sizes: 75 cl with screw cap
Serving temperature: An excellent meditation wine and after-dinner drink, served at 15–20°C. As an aperitif, it is ideal at 8–10°C
Food pairings: Spicy dishes, cured meats and mature cheeses
Production process: A blend of Sicilian white grapes, 2% cooked must, with added alcohol derived from wine materials, aged for a long time in large oak barrels
