Maiorano Falanghina Del Sannio Dop 2020 is a white wine of exceptional elegance, produced from Falanghina grapes selected from the historic Toppo Maiorano locality on the Pietreionne estate.

Vinified as a white wine and aged for about six months on the lees in steel, this wine is distinguished by its straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections.

On the nose, the Maiorano offers a fruity and floral bouquet, with pronounced notes of green apple, banana and exotic fruit.

On the palate, it is dry, fresh and savoury, with good acidity that makes it perfect with first courses, appetisers, fish dishes, white meats and fresh soft cheeses.

This wine is ideal for those seeking an authentic taste of the Sannio wine tradition, representing the best of Falanghina.

The winery stretches across the hills where the green vineyards take centre stage.

Pietreionne is the ancient name of the locality where the vineyards, which have been farmed for over 4 generations, are located.

The name, long lost, resurfaced in some historical documents during the reconstruction of the family farm. Local elders attributed the name with the meaning of 'round stones' because of the characteristic rounded stones that form the soil skeleton in that area.

It was natural for the owners to make the most of their past by creating Pietreionne Vini.

Round stones, sculpted by time, sinuous and harmonic, symbolising balance. Balance and Harmony that they seek with their work in the wines they produce.
