The tour begins with a walk among the vineyards and olive groves where you will observe the characteristics and discover what happens before the harvest.
Then, you move to the cellar where the steps and operations that turn grapes into a wine worthy of the Fattoria di Poggiopiano will be explained!
The guided tasting includes a sampling of three wines by the glass, two oils, and a platter of local products, but if you wish for another glass, you can order it from our à la carte menu for an additional charge!



Since 1935 the Galardi brothers have dedicated themselves to the production of oil and wine on the hills of Fiesole, a few kilometers from Florence, as well as to the construction of mechanical equipment for the production of cereals, wine and oil.
The vineyards and olive groves extend over 17 ha, at 150 m asl. On the lean, marly and calcareous soils the productions are limited in quantity, but of important quality.
Exposure to the sun determines a particularly favorable microclimate and the absence of humidity stagnation minimizes parasitic attacks, favoring a low environmental impact agronomic management, certified organic since 1999, alongside the use of renewable energy sources and the study of packaging materials.
Even today Poggiopiano maintains its family management in agricultural production, as well as in the reception in the Cellar and in the Farmhouse.
