Anna Maria Abbona

Langhe rosso DOC Cadò
Anna Maria Abbona
Product information
Barbera 90%, Dolcetto 10% - From the few rows of Barbera, planted by Anna Maria's grandfather, we now obtain a ruby red wine that lasts over time, the Cadò.
In Piedmontese dialect, as well as in French, the word "Cadò" means "gift"; a gift that Anna Maria has been able to make the most of over the years.
Aged for 18 months in a mix of French oak and Slavonian oak, it concludes its rest in the bottle for about a year.
The acidity of Barbera is pungent, mitigated with Dolcetto grapes to increase the sweet sensation and to make it gentler in the mouth.
The nose is dominated by small scents of fruit and delicate sensations of spice; on the palate, an accentuated and elegant tannin with a clear but no lesser.
