Anna Maria Abbona

Barolo DOCG del comune di Castiglione Falletto
Anna Maria Abbona
Product information
Nebbiolo 100% - Our first production dates back to 2009.
Grapes from the vineyards of Castiglione Falletto, located 250 meters above sea level and characterized by tufaceous and calcareous soils.
The Barolo must be subject to various restrictions, including the specific area of growth and vinification and the minimum period of aging that must undergo in wood.
It is these peculiarities that make it so valuable.
Our choice was to age it in 1000 Lt Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months, leaving it to rest in the bottle for 6 months.
It is a gentler and softer Barolo than the traditional ones, which is already able to give pleasant sensations even in the first years.
The color is a delicate garnet and, approaching the glass to the nose, prevails an aroma of undergrowth combined with balsamic notes. On the palate there is an elegant tannin that does not disturb, linked to the hints of fruit.
