Spumante Brut Metodo Martinotti lungo produced from grapes cultivated in the Bellussera vineyard in a single vineyard. The processing of the vineyard, despite being in the plain of Treviso, is done completely by hand from pruning to harvesting.

Grape variety: 70%Glera - 30%Chardonnay (variable according to the years)

Type of soil: The soil is composed of sands, gravels and is largely clayey on a caranto base

Training system: coming exclusively from the Bellussi planting system, (ancient planting system which is gradually disappearing because it requires completely manual work)

Harvesting method: Manual

Vinification: soft pressing with pneumatic presses, static decantation of the must. Refinement part in steel, part in cement for about 3 months. Subsequently passed in autoclave for the taking of foam with Martinotti Method, made a long fermentation for about 6 months.

Sensorial notes: Brilliant straw yellow color, fine and persistent perlage. Clean, pleasantly fruity bouquet, reminiscent of rennet apples and peach blossoms. Pleasantly dry and harmonic taste.

Food pairing: best matched with seafood and light, delicate dishes, but also as an aperitif.

Alcohol by volume: 11 °Vol

Host information

For three generations, for Bellese Vini the cultivation of grapes is not just work, but it is the manifestation of love for the places of their birth, landscapes hidden in the lower reaches of the Piave River, far from the city life that with its rhythms erases peace and serenity. Rhythms that can be easily found here in the dirt roads that flank the expanses of vines in an alternation of modern Guyot and monumental Bellussere, framed by tree-lined hedges, elm woods, plane trees and spontaneous elder trees.

They grow their own grapes. The origin of their wine is certified by the efforts they make in the vineyard and in the cellar. They try to defend the terroir and its peculiarities, to preserve the landscape that surrounds them. In a single word: they are Fivi Winegrowers.

Just as their grandparents taught them the value of sacrifice, the hard work of obtaining sustenance from the land, the respect for the part of the world that we do not own, they too will pass it on to future generations.
