Your experience begins with a walk through the estate’s vineyards, where you will learn about the history of the territory, the characteristics of the soils, and the sustainable practices that shape the winery’s production. The visit continues with a guided tasting of four signature Sicilian wines: the fresh and floral Grillo, the bold Nero d’Avola, the elegant Frappato, and the prestigious Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Sicily’s only DOCG wine.

The tasting is accompanied by a rich platter of local cold cuts, artisanal specialties, and traditional focaccia, carefully selected to enhance the aromas and character of each wine, offering a true immersion into Sicilian food and wine culture.

Vigna di Pettineo, is located among the most renowned districts of the Classic area of production of Cerasuolo di Vittoria D.o.c.g.. It was born from the family tradition and passion of winemaker Massimo Maggio, careful and expert winemaker, who wants to propose wines with a strong vocation of the "terroir" Ibleo.

Pettineo was a small farming village where, until the 60s, the farmers who worked their vineyards lived only as those who worked their land know how to do. From these roots comes the organic project that Massimo Maggio wants to revive in the same places loved by those women and men who have cultivated their land for centuries.

Since the 90s, the activity has been transformed into a contemporary company, where we take care of our vineyards with methods based on organic farming and always new investments in research and innovation, maintaining above all the noble vocation of this territory of wine excellence.

Sono stata con il mio fidanzato in questa splendida cantina per il nostro anniversario. Tra le diverse cantine abbiamo scelto la Tenuta l’Impostino, che leggendo la loro presentazione mi ha ispirato molto ad assaggiare i loro vini. Siamo arrivati in questa Tenuta immersa nel verde, i vigneti e molto curata, dove ci hanno accompagnato chi la gestisce (il Signor Fabio) molto carini e gentili, dove ci ha accompagnato a fare una visita della Tenuta, molto interessante e poi abbiamo proseguito con il pranzo di 3 portate (più dolce) con l’abbinamento dei vini. È stata una bellissima esperienza e una piacevole esperienza! Devo fare i miei complimenti per tutto, sia per il buon pranzo che per i loro eccellenti vini che ci sono piaciuti molto, infatti ne abbiamo comprate diverse bottiglie. Ve lo consiglio vivamente se volete fare un esperienza diversa, in tranquillità in mezzo alla natura. Speriamo di tornarci presto!
