The name DeAetna, inspired by the title of a Latin pamphlet dated 1494, expresses the sacredness of the wine universe.
Written in the form of a dialogue, the text tells of the ascent to the top of the volcano by a Venetian writer, Pietro Bembo, upon his return from his stay in Messina with Costantino Lascaris.
The description and study of the Etna and its activity attribute to DeAetna classical and historical mysticism, affirming the Etnean wine as the most intellectual moment of the dining experience.
