Oltrepò Pavese is a Lombard territory between Emilia and Piedmont, bordering the provinces of Alessandria and Piacenza.
Divided from the rest of the province of Pavia by the Po, it extends for about 1100 square kilometers of which a third are of plain and the remaining two thirds are divided between hills and mountains with a pleasant variety of rich landscapes.
Seventy-eight are its municipalities, each of which brings with it a historical, artistic and cultural heritage of suggestive medieval villages, towers and castles.
Among the vineyards of these hills are produced wines with famous names and undisputed value.
