Flavors of Irpinia

Among green hills, dense forests of oak and beech, archaeological sites and medieval villages, we find the route of the Wine and Flavors Road of Irpinia, which begins and ends in the province of Avellino.

Irpinia is a land of peasant traditions: a specialization school for viticulture and enology was also established in Avellino by Francesco De Sanctis, and Italian viticulture owes a lot to this institution, as do the producers of Irpinia.
