Valpolicella wine route

Between the beautiful Verona and the wonderful Lake Garda, there is a splendid hilly area full of wonders; the Valpolicella.

In addition to the excellent climate, in Valpolicella you can admire splendid landscapes, which are articulated between the green of the vineyards and the evocative natural and architectural beauties.

There are many explanations on the origin of the name, the one we like best and which comes closest to reality is the Latin expression "Val-poli-cellae" or "Valley of many cellars".
