A territory of high and medium hill on the slopes of Mount Vulture, extinct volcano, but active until the Upper Pleistocene, which has its highest peak at 1,327 meters s.l.m. and which slopes progressively westwards along the river Ofanto and eastwards towards the plain of Puglia.
