Deep Roots. A New Generation. Franciacorta with Its Eyes on the Future.
Our story began long before our first bottle.
Raineri Franciacorta was founded in 2019 by Lorenzo Raineri, a young entrepreneur and graduate in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Milan. Yet the roots of the project reach back more than twenty years, to the vineyards cultivated by Lorenzo’s grandfather: a farmer whose knowledge was shaped by experience, patience and a profound connection with the land.
It was from this family heritage that Lorenzo chose to build something new. Not simply to continue what had come before, but to give it a contemporary identity and a forward-looking vision.
Based in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta, our winery now comprises four hectares planted mainly with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We deliberately limit our annual production to approximately 20,000 bottles. For us, remaining small means staying close to every detail: each vineyard, each harvest and every stage of the journey from grape to bottle.
We produce three Franciacorta wines — Satèn, Brut and Dosaggio Zero — each expressing a different facet of our identity while sharing the same pursuit of elegance, precision and authenticity.
At the heart of our winemaking is the SoloUva Method, which uses grape must instead of added sugar, both for the secondary fermentation in the bottle and for the final dosage. By relying on must rather than externally added sugar, the method preserves an uninterrupted connection between the vineyard and the finished wine.
Manual harvesting, meticulous selection of each bunch and extended ageing on the lees allow us to create wines of depth and finesse, with a clear and genuine expression of their origin.
Our approach in the vineyard is guided by the same respect. We select practices that help preserve the natural balance of the vines, encourage biodiversity and reduce the environmental impact of cultivation. Sustainability, for us, is not a passing trend, but a responsibility towards the land entrusted to us and the generations that will follow.
Raineri Franciacorta is therefore a meeting point between two generations: the experience and dedication of those who first cultivated these vineyards, and the energy, knowledge and ambition of a young winery looking towards the future.
Visiting us means stepping into this story. It means walking through the vineyards where it all began, discovering the journey from vine to bottle and tasting limited-production Franciacorta wines created with strong roots, a distinctive identity and a new generation’s vision.
