Our cellar

In Iseo, overlooking the lake, a family-run winery with a stunning view.
Terraced vineyards producing unique and special Franciacorta DOCG wines, including Satèn.
A reality certified in the register of Italian excellences since 2015 that also produces small quantities of extra virgin olive oil.

The Massussi Agricultural Company was founded in 1985 by Giuseppina Ruggeri and her husband Vittorio Massussi, with the support of her maternal father Agostino, whose love for the land provided great motivation in the early years of activity.
Initially, the company was established under the name Ruggeri, after the founder Giuseppina, mother of Luigi Massussi.

Thanks to hard work and constant commitment to achieving ever-greater quality, in 2011 the first important recognitions and national publications appeared in guides such as Veronelli and Slow Food, which led to the company being noticed and then contrasted, due to the name similarity, with Ruggeri of Prosecco.
For this reason, the company chose to change its name to Massussi Agricultural Company, bearing the surname of the current head of the family business, Luigi.

Tasting and visit reservations are mandatory and by appointment.
Shop opening hours are every day from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM

Detailed explanation of winemaking techniques followed by a tasting on the veranda with a privileged view of Lake Iseo featuring two glasses of Franciacorta DOCG Vintage Massussi (type based on the availability of the company) + a third glass of a Surprise wine accompanied by taralli, breadsticks, and chips. Cellar visit not included. To reach the winery, do not take the cobbled road suggested by the navigator, even if faster, as it is very narrow; continue on the provincial road and follow the signs. On-site discount for purchasing vintage wines 15% on 6 bottles

Vintage Tasting with Lake View

In realtà è proprio il contrario, in un presente dove veniamo annaffiati da bollicine industriali, spicca una piccolissima realtà dove conoscenza, impegno e passione si ritrovano nel bicchiere. Un'azienda a conduzione famigliare, un vino di eccellente qualità e un'accoglienza calorosa; la visita è stata un'esperienza davvero piacevolissima. Invito tutti a uscire dagli schemi commerciali e provare ad apprezzare il vero valore del vino. Complimenti a Luigi e a tutta la sua famiglia!

Abbiamo trascorso il giorno di Pasqua facendo una degustazione in questa azienda vista Lago d’Iseo e che dire… è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa. Il connubio tra l’ottimo vino e il cibo di qualità ha soddisfatto appieno i nostri palati. Un ringraziamento speciale va al signor Luigi, che ci ha accolti con estrema gentilezza, raccontandoci con passione la storia della sua attività e i segreti della vinificazione. Non potevamo certo andare via a mani vuote: abbiamo acquistato diverse bottiglie per portare un po' di quell'eccellenza a casa. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente! Grazie di cuore.

Cantina con affaccio sul lago fantastico, la qualità di vino è indiscutibile, ottima spiegazione della persona che ti segue nella visita, il figlio, traspare tutta la conoscenza, l'amore e il rispetto per il suo lavoro

Aperitivo serale scoperto per caso, arrivati siamo stati accolti dal signor luigi,proprietario della cantina omonima che con gentilezza e competenza ci ha mostrato prima il panorama meraviglioso della sua cantina,che dalle colline sopra iseo guarda verso il lago e poi ci ha spiegato come la sua azienda, a conduzione familiare produce il vino. A seguire abbiamo fatto un ottimo aperitivo con prodotti locali in compagnia del proprietario che ci ha fatto degustare 2 dei suoi vini di punta, prodotti veramente sopra la media rispetto a tanti altri franciacorta ben più blasonati. Che dire merita la visita

Una delle poche, se non l'unica azienda vinicola, affacciata sul lago. La visione di quest'ultimo è sempre costante durante la visita e la degustazione. L'esperienza si divide fondamentalmente in due step : 1 visita della vigna e della cantina dove vengono mostrate tutte le tecniche 2 degustazione di vino accompagnata da un bel tagliere di formaggi ed insaccati Per quanto riguarda il prodotto si distingue dagli altri Franciacorta proprio perché è posizionato in maniera diversa rispetto alle altre vigne. Il proprietario è estremamente gentile ed è in grado di rispondere a qualsiasi domanda del cliente. Consiglio vivamente sia il prodotto che la visita seppur la struttura è in fase di ampliamento

Uno dei più piccoli produttori di Franciacorta, ambiente molto famigliare. abbiamo visitato la vigna, la cantina e poi una degustazione con tagliere di formaggi e salumi. Tutto ottimo!
