The Massussi Agricultural Company was founded in 1985 by Giuseppina Ruggeri and her husband Vittorio Massussi, with the support of her maternal father Agostino, whose love for the land greatly motivated the early years of activity.
Initially, the company was named Ruggeri, after the founder Giuseppina, mother of Luigi Massussi.
Thanks to hard work and constant commitment to seeking ever greater quality, in 2011 the first important recognitions and national publications in guides such as Veronelli and Slow Food were obtained, leading to increased visibility that made the company noticeable and later contested due to the name similarity with Ruggeri of Prosecco.
For this reason, the company chose to change its name to Massussi Agricultural Company, using the surname of the current family business leader, Luigi.
