Jorche is also a wine and wine tourism company immersed in the green countryside of Taranto.
Now in their fifth generation, the sisters Gianfreda, Dalila and Emanuela dedicate themselves with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to the historic family business.
Near the Masseria there is the new winery, a modern structure of high technological value.
The construction of the current Cellar coincides with the beginning of a new phase of Jorche's winemaking activity and with the debut of its new wines.
A modern and technologically advanced architectural structure with a fermentation temperature control system that jealously preserves the authentic values of the past. The wines rest in the silence of the new underground cooperage and the last ageing of the Primitivo takes place in the large barrels and barriques and partly in the "capasuni" according to the original method.
The Antica Masseria Jorche is a combination of two closely connected worlds: the wine sector, with vineyards and Cellar, and that of Hospitality in the Masseria.
Surrounded by the vineyard, the Cellar welcomes the guests of the Masseria in an experiential path that tells the production phases, the characteristics of the wines and ends with the tasting. Leading the visit is Emanuela, oenologist, who inherited her passion for this world from her father Antonio, also an oenologist.
