Bramaterra DOC Riserva
La Psigula
Product information
Currently on the market you can taste the 2016 and 2017 vintages; 80% Nebbiolo, 15% Vespolina and 5% Croatina, Bramaterra La Psigula is aged for 24 months in large wooden barrels: the result is a garnet red wine, with intense and elegant aromas that refine with ageing, rich sip with pleasantly intense and smooth tannin, velvety palate with vibrant acidity and great persistence, in short a great wine that invites you to drink.
Host information
The La Psigula Winery is located in the heart of the Biellese Alto Piemonte, in Curino, at the foot of an ancient medieval tower surrounded by vineyards over 400 meters above sea level.
Founded in 2015 by Giacomo and Claudia, the winery turns a family dream into reality: to produce Bramaterra DOC and Coste della Sesia DOC that best express the unique terroir of these hills. Our grapes — Nebbiolo (Spanna), Croatina, and Vespolina — grow on acidic porphyry soils, giving the wines distinctive minerality and elegance.
Today, La Psigula is also a wine tourism destination: we welcome guests among the rows for walks, cellar tours, and guided tastings of our red and rosé wines. Each experience is a journey through the Alto Piemonte region, amidst unspoiled landscapes and authentic flavors.
The winery is open by appointment all year round. Reaching us is easy: we are 20 minutes from Biella and 90 minutes from Milan and Turin.
