Soft pink, delicate and strong like passion in love. Our most carnal, seductive, and provocative feminine soul. Wine made from early harvested Sangiovese grapes for freshness, with the addition of whole bunches of Malvasia bianca that impart delicate floral and fruity aromas.
Denomination: Rosato Umbria I.G.P.
Grapes: 80-85% Sangiovese, 15-20% Malvasia lunga bianca
Soil: Sandy, rich in minerals and limestone (Arenaceous)
Vineyard: Vigna del Crocefisso from 2005 for Sangiovese, Vigna Severina from 1970 for Malvasia bianca.
Grape yield per hectare: 60-70 q./ha
Harvest period: early September
Winemaking: The Sangiovese grapes are gently pressed with a horizontal Vaslin press from the '70s. After 2 days, whole bunches of Malvasia bianca are added to the fermenting must, infusing for about 2-3 weeks.
Fermentation: spontaneous, at cellar temperature (18-24°C)
Aging: in steel tanks on fine lees for 6-7 months.
Bottling: without filtration, during the waning moon on Fruit/Flower days in May/June. Energized with Rose Quartz crystal.
Organoleptic description: pale salmon pink color, intense fruity aromas of orange, pomegranate, wild strawberries, and currants, with light herbaceous and floral notes. Fresh, juicy, soft, and savory taste, great drinkability.
