Sorrettole, Chianti Colli Fiorentini is the most traditional wine of Cantina La Querce, representing the essence of Chianti with its composition mainly of Sangiovese grapes, enriched by Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot.

Vinified in steel tanks, this red wine is ready for the market after a short maturation period.

With an intense red colour and an alcohol content of 13.5%, the 2020 vintage of Sorrettole offers a fruity, full and vinous bouquet.

On the palate, it stands out for its dry and fresh taste, characterised by great drinkability.

Perfect with pasta with tomato sauce, pasta with meat sauce and meat dishes, Chianti Colli Fiorentini Sorrettole is ideal for those looking for an authentic and versatile wine, to be consumed within 3-5 years after harvesting to fully appreciate its qualities.

Host information

La Querce estate is located on Impruneta at the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini. In its 42 hectares we grow vineyards and olive trees. It’s cultivated according to both tradition and innovation, limiting chemical interventions in order to reach the balance between soil and plants. As a result we obtain high quality products. Most fields face south in a wide valley; this helps to obtain sun exposure and light breeze during the harvest, so as to produce healthy grapes of great concentration.
