Turra: Winery in Franciacorta with Family History
Our winery in Franciacorta is a family of passionate winemakers who have always believed in the potential of this land. A visceral passion, passed down from Carlo to his son Roberto, who today runs the winery with his sons Federico and Filippo and his wife Vittoria. Every day, we try to pay homage to the natural landscape we have chosen to cultivate, respecting and enhancing our work in the vineyard. Each cluster is a story of passion and tenacity, ours.
For a weekend in Franciacorta, visit our organic vineyards, where we practice minimal field treatment and maximum manual care. We cultivate 15 hectares with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc varietals at the foot of Monte Orfano.
The winery is located in Cologne (BS), and it is here that the grapes are soft-pressed and turned into wine. The winemaking processes are typical of the Franciacorta method, from the production of the sparkling wine bases to the draught, refermentation in the bottle, and disgorging and resting in the cellar. Time is the main ally: to taste a glass of our Franciacorta wines, it takes at least 30 months from when the grapes reach the cellar.

Ben organizzati con cassetta preparata appositamente per fare il pic nic in vigna oltre alla bottiglia fresca di Satén veramente ottima .

Abbiamo acquistato una degustazione a quattro zampe, in pratica non era altro che una passeggiata tra le vigne sotto un sole cocente, inutile dire che noi e il nostro carlino, insieme ad un altro bulldog francese, non abbiamo potuto partecipare, di base è stato scelto un orario completamente sbagliato sarebbe stato sufficiente fare la passeggiata al tramonto. Alla fine ci siamo seduti e abbiamo bevuto qualche bicchiere di vino e niente più. Una degustazione per chiamarsi così deve essere seguita da persone competenti che spiegano come vengono fatti i loro vini e quali proprietà organolettiche hanno.

La visita è stata privata, perché eravamo solo noi 3. è stata veramente molto interessante, perché abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vedere da vicino questa realtà familiare gestita benissimo. I vini che abbiamo assaggiato erano buonissimi, abbiamo anche acquistato 4 bottiglie. La degustazione poi è stata accompagnata da un meraviglioso vassoio di salumi, formaggi, pane e marmellata - finalmente qualcosa di vero da mangiare rispetto ai soliti tarallini.
Consiglio caldamente la visita di questa cantina!

"Nelle botti piccole ci sta il vino buono"...giornata piacevole e scoperta di un mondo a noi sconosciuto...Cantina piccola ma bella da vedere e spiegazione molto interessante e chiara da parte del figlio sempre attento e chiaro... esperienza da ripetere ...
