The ROUTE
.The Aldo Marenco farm offers a picnic walk in the beautiful setting of Dogliani. The route, which crosses the farm's courtyard, is looped, is 10 km long, has an elevation gain of 228 m, has a walking time of just over 3 hours of "light" walking and is suitable for families. It is a well-marked scenic trail that winds from the historic town center to the green fields to a scenic ridge.
For the picnic, the Aldo Marenco company provides a thermal backpack containing a blanket, a pocket knife, a corkscrew, 2 water glasses, 2 wine glasses, 2 cutlery kits, and 2 paper plates.
WHAT YOU SEE
The walk winds from the historic center of Dogliani to climb to Dogliani Castello, continues toward the hamlet of San Giorgio, among the green fields, on a scenic ridge in the direction of Borgata Pamparato, and skirts the beautiful and colorful Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie, a work recovered by architect Giovanni Battista Schellino in 1867. It then descends again toward the center of the village, passing in front of the Monumental entrance to the Cemetery. The trail continues to Robinson Park and then descends and reaches the village at the sports facilities.

The cost is €35.00 per person
The menu is customizable upon request in composition, wines and portions.
For Dogliani Parlapa, Barbera Balin and Nebbiolo wines the supplement is € 5.00 per bottle.
For each additional portion the supplement is € 5.00.
For each small bottle of water the supplement is € 1.00.
The backpack (1 backpack for 2 people) will be returned at the end of the walk.

Our winery, Marenco Aldo, is located in the heart of theLanghe in Piedmont, an area historically linked to viticulture.
Our history is that of the Marenco family, rooted in Dogliani, in the heart of the Langhe, from the generation of great-grandfather Francesco to the current one, led by Claudio Marenco.
With 25 hectares of land, 12 of which are dedicated to the cultivation of vine varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Favorita, Nebbiolo, Nascetta, and Merlot, we produce about 70-80,000 bottles annually. Always, our approach has always been organic, inspired by respect for the land and nature, as evidenced by the organic fitness certification obtained back in 1991. Visiting our winery means discovering the true winemaking tradition of Monferrato.
