Founded in 1974 on the picturesque Chestnut Hill in Verduno, Cantina Bel Colle is a jewel of winemaking that blends family passion and innovation. Since its acquisition in 2015 by the Bosio family of Santo Stefano Belbo, four generations of winemakers have carried on the tradition of excellence, with an eye always on respecting local customs and the tastes of our beloved visitors.
Under the expert guidance of winemakers Luca Bosio, Mario Albrito and Gianfranco Cordero, Bel Colle is distinguished by a production philosophy that respects the environment and celebrates the unique character of its wines. The winery is committed to sustainable practices, from low-impact viticulture with manual tillage of the vineyards, to the exclusive use of organic compounds and innovative plant protection techniques.
Each bunch of grapes is hand-selected during the harvest, and fermentations occur naturally, using only indigenous yeasts. Our great reds mature quietly in French and Slavonian oak barrels, following a "non-intervention" philosophy that allows the wine to fully express the inherent qualities of the grape variety and terroir.
