Rosato RosaCelsus is obtained mainly from Sangiovese and Syrah grapes, grown in the Fosdinovo area at 250 meters above sea level. The grapes, after pressing and destemming, undergo a very short maceration with subsequent racking and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The RosaCelsus has a brilliant cherry-pink colour and a fruity aroma with notes of red fruits. The taste is soft, fresh and velvety. We recommend it with fish dishes, appetizers and fish soups. Best served at a temperature of 10°-12°, RosaCelsus has an alcohol content of 13°.

Host information

We are located in Castelnuovo Magra (SP), in the area overlooking the archaeological site of the ancient city of Luni and where Liguria and Tuscany meet.

Our family, from generation to generation, has been cultivating vineyards in a hilly area close to the sea since the late '70s, overcoming the harshness of a hard and stony ground. The vineyards of about 10 hectares located in the Colli di Luni DOC area, extend between Fosdinovo (MS), Sarzana (SP) and Castelnuovo Magra (SP) where we also find the winery.

Ancient and precious grapes, ours, which maintain a strong link with the tradition of the territory: Sangiovese and Vermentino, of which we exalt with love the main characteristics and preserve their authenticity. Symbol of the company is the statue stele, a monument of prehistoric times and uncertain date found in Lunigiana. Its re-proposal on the label, revisited in a modern key, throws a symbolic bridge with the memory of the place.
