Product information

Exclusively produced from the single vineyard Pietrauta, located at 280 m above sea level on sedimentary soil, with an exposure to the East and South-East, this pure Sagrantino represents the essence of the Montefalco territory.

The yields are very low to ensure maximum quality (55 q/ha of grapes, 35 hl/ha of wine).

The harvest is manual in small crates, during the second half of October.

The winemaking process involves fermentation on the skins for 8 days and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a long aging: 24 months in 26 hl Austrian oak barrels, 9–12 months in stainless steel, and at least 12 months in bottle.

A complex, deep wine, with great aging potential.

Fratelli Pardi Winery, continuity in tradition.

“Our wines have their own personality. Each vintage presents itself differently from the others, and it is our particular interest to respect what nature offers us, without forcing or manipulating our products in any way. We strongly believe in our territory, its culture, and winemaking tradition, and we intend to communicate all this to the world through a bottle that can convey our values on its own.”
