Product information

An icon of the Montefalco tradition, this Sagrantino Passito is produced from 100% Sagrantino grapes grown in sedimentary soils at an altitude of 280 m above sea level, with exposure to the East and South-East.

The harvest is manual in small crates in the first half of October, followed by a natural drying on racks for 2–3 months, according to the ancient method.

The winemaking process involves fermentation on the skins for 10–16 days and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging for 18–24 months in oak barrels, 12 months in steel, and 6 months in the bottle.

Perfect on its own, it is a meditation wine, the ideal companion for good readings and moments of introspection.

“Our wines have their own personality. Each vintage presents itself differently from the others, and it is our particular interest to respect what nature offers us, without forcing or manipulating our products in any way. We strongly believe in our territory, its culture, and winemaking tradition, and we intend to communicate all this to the world through a bottle that can convey our values on its own.”
