DOS BEL is the Cru of the vineyard where the history of Azienda Agricola Folini began. Located at the end of the municipality of Chiuro and at the beginning of the Valgella area, it is a 'beautiful hill', a promontory on an alluvial fan ranging from 300 meters above sea level to 550 meters above sea level. It fully represents the winery, rich in structure and complexity, due to the varying ages of the Nebbiolo vines and different cultivation methods.

There are still vines that are 80 to 100 years old, arranged vertically on terraces, and 10/15-year-old vines planted in a circular pattern cultivated using the Guyot method. The DOS BEL 2016 reserve was created from a selection of the 4 best barrels where it matured for 36 months, providing balance and elegance.

Host information

8 and a half hectares of vineyards, divided into 40 plots distributed over the territory of Chiuro, Teglio, Ponte, Tresivio, Poggiridenti and Sondrio.

80% of the production of grapes is conferred, while the rest is vinified, divided into different types, in its own cellar, built in 2008.

There, the first processing phases are carried out after the harvest and the first racking. In the historical centre of the village there is also a second cellar where the wine is aged in barriques and tonneaux.

The birth of the farm has allowed the tasting of the types of our wines accompanied by dishes of the territory and not, using seasonal products that we grow in a garden a few meters from the farm.

Here you will be greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere in a living room with wooden coffered ceiling carved by hand and other carved wooden works that create a striking setting where taste and art come together in a perfect combination.
