Civardi Winery — Ziano Piacentino Colli Piacentini · Ziano Piacentino · DOC
Wine is not made. It is listened to.
For over a century, in the Colli Piacentini where the hills turn green among the vineyards, the Civardi family has held onto a simple and radical idea: wine is not made. It is listened to.
Oreste and Daniele — father and son, two generations tied to the same land of Ziano Piacentino — work each row with a patience that cannot be learned: it is inherited. Their hands know the weight of September, the silence of early mornings among the vines, the subtle pride of those who know that every bottle tells a whole year of life.
From their vineyards come Gutturnio, Ortrugo, and Malvasia: DOC wines that bring to the glass the character of the hills, the freshness of the wind rising from the Po Valley, the intensity of an authentic and still little-discovered territory — one of the great hidden treasures of Italian winemaking.
Visiting Oreste and Daniele means not just tasting. It means walking among the rows where each plant has its story, entering the cellar where ideas ferment as well as grapes, sitting in front of a glass with people who have chosen to belong to their land — not the other way around.
