Rosato Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero PIWI

With great pride we present our Rosato Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero obtained from the resistant grape Prior.

But what are resistant vines?

They are "stronger" vines, less subject to chemical treatments and therefore healthier. They are vine varieties which show a particularly high resistance to fungal diseases.

The variety used for this wine is Prior, usually considered as one of the best PIWI for the production of red wines. This vine, however, has Pinot Noir as its parent and for this reason we dared to think about making one of the first, if not the first, classic methods in the world obtained from this variety.

We have obtained a fresh and vibrant wine, with good sapidity and structure that has complex aromas and pleasant floral and bread crust notes.

Vinification: Direct pressing of whole grapes without maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Foaming: In bottle, 24 months on the lees and disgorgement without dosage.
Harvest: 2017
Disgorgement: June 2020
Limited production: 450 bottles
Alcohol: 12 %vol.
Residual sugar: 0 g/l
