Colsereno Wine Resort, nestled in the heart of Montalcino, is a rare gem that offers a dive into Tuscan authenticity and winemaking tradition. Dating back to the early 1900s, this farmhouse witnessed the history and traditions of the famous Palio di Siena, hosting jockeys until 1987. Today, completely renovated, Colsereno retains its rustic charm with original stone walls and beamed ceilings, making it one of the most charming farmhouses in the region.
Since 1998, with the grafting of the first hectare of Brunello Vineyard, followed by eight more dedicated hectares, Colsereno has transformed its agricultural vocation into renowned wine production. About 6 of the winery's 70 hectares are now dedicated to Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino vineyards, cultivated following organic methods to ensure the highest quality and respect for the environment.

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo prenotato un picnic tra i vigneti di questo bellissimo podere.
È stata un’esperienza meravigliosa,
seduti sull’erba con una vista mozzafiato a gustare un tagliere con prodotti locali di alta qualità e a bere un buonissimo Brunello.
Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e cordialità e riforniti di tutto il necessario per godere del picnic nel pieno comfort,
da rifare assolutamente.

Ci siamo recati in questa struttura per degustare i vini di Montalcino sia Rosso che Brunello. E' stata un'esperienza diversa da altre degustazioni a cui avevamo partecipato. Molto più interessante a partire dalla coltivazione biologica della vigna per arrivare all'imbottigliamento finale del vino seguendo un percorso biologico dalla A alla Z. Simone, spero di non sbagliare il nome, ci ha incantato per quasi due ore insegnandoci anche alcuni segreti della degustazione. Tagliere di qualità che ben si è sposato con i vini.
Bellissima la filosofia biologica dell'azienda, persino la piscina ha acqua salata per non utilizzare cloro. Assolutamente da provare.
