We were greeted by Luigi at arrival. After we enjoyed the view, we were taken to the fields. He explained the different kind of grapes and the different terroir on the mountain versus lower. We also learned about some family history about the winery and his plans for the future.
Afterwards we were shown to the tasting room (again with the view) and we tasted 3 different wines. We were explained the differences in the wine. All in all a lovely morning

We will introduce you to the history of our family and our Villa, of which you will visit the main floor with its rooms: the library, the living room, the bedrooms, the little red room. WE will make you taste, in combination with two local cheeses, our Iga beers made from Moscato di Scanzo and Moscato Giallo muscatel. Unique products of the highest quality, produced for us by Como Brewery, a small craft brewery we have been collaborating with since 2018.

The Pagnoncelli Folcieri family settled in Scanzorosciate towards the middle of the nineteenth century. Giancarlo Pagnoncelli Folcieri, a third-generation pharmacist, in 1962, produces his first Moscato di Scanzo from a vineyard placed in the best and most happy position of Mount Bastia. We are the smallest producers of the smallest DOCG of Italy, to date the only Lombard.
