Montina Franciacorta

FRANCIACORTA RISERVA QUOR NATURE CANADA
Montina Franciacorta
Product information
Exclusively produced with grapes harvested during exceptional vintages and selected from the oldest vineyards, Quor represents the pinnacle of our Franciacorta wines. It is the result of the skillful blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir obtained through the gentle pressing of the Marmonier Vertical Press. Visually, it is bright yellow, while the nose is characterized by captivating aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit and delicate toasty notes, with honeyed hints that enhance its elegance. The wood, present in both the color nuances and the taste, contributes to giving the wine a bold character. On the palate, it stands out for its acidic verve, accompanied by a fullness of flavor that makes it ideal for pairing with elaborate culinary preparations, including meat-based dishes like the Brescia-style spit roast.
Host information
Montina Franciacorta is a family-run winery located in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, just a few steps from Lake Iseo. The company was founded on April 28, 1987, by three of the seven Bozza brothers: Vittorio, Gian Carlo, and Alberto.
The estate, built in 1620 by the ancestor of Pope Paul VI, Benedetto Montini, spans an area characterized by an extraordinary microclimate, ideal for the cultivation of vines and olives. The vineyard area covers 72 hectares, producing approximately 450,000 bottles annually.
Always an “open winery,” Montina organizes daily tours and tastings in Italian and English.
Within the estate, alongside the Montina winery and its direct sales Wine shop, you will find: the seventeenth-century Villa Baiana, hosting private and business events; the Conference Center for corporate meetings; and the first Contemporary Art Gallery in Franciacorta.
