Morning Festival: Tour, Art & Franciacorta Extra Brut

Enter the world of Montina and experience an authentic adventure during the Franciacorta Festival. We will guide you through our 7,500 sqm underground winery: a fascinating place where wine comes to life amidst family stories, barrel aromas, and bubbles designed to inspire.

What the experience includes:

Guided winery tour: Stroll through the picturesque courtyard of Villa Baiana, tour the underground winery with an explanation of the Franciacorta Method, visit the halls and art pieces on the estate (featuring the permanent collection of Remo Bianco and the temporary exhibition of Mariano Carrara).
Tasting kit: Glass holder pouch with branded polypropylene glass.
1 Tasting ticket: To savor our Franciacorta Extra Brut.

After the tour and your first included glass, the day on the estate continues!

Food Islands by Villa Baiana (11:30 AM – 3:00 PM): Gastronomic stations curated by our restaurant's kitchen will be active, offering delightful pairings with the wines.

Montina Franciacorta is a family-run winery located in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, just a few steps from Lake Iseo. The company was founded on April 28, 1987, by three of the seven Bozza brothers: Vittorio, Gian Carlo, and Alberto.

The estate, built in 1620 by the ancestor of Pope Paul VI, Benedetto Montini, spans an area characterized by an extraordinary microclimate, ideal for the cultivation of vines and olives. The vineyard area covers 72 hectares, producing approximately 450,000 bottles annually.
Always an “open winery,” Montina organizes daily tours and tastings in Italian and English.

Within the estate, alongside the Montina winery and its direct sales Wine shop, you will find: the seventeenth-century Villa Baiana, hosting private and business events; the Conference Center for corporate meetings; and the first Contemporary Art Gallery in Franciacorta.

Già dall'arrivo abbiamo percepito la cura con la quale viene gestita la struttura. L'accoglienza è stata gentile e professionale come la visita guidata, davvero una bellissima esperienza poter conoscere e vedere la storia che la cantina portato avanti in questi anni. Gli assaggi dei vini scelti con la relativa spiegazione, sono stati veramente gradevoli. Un particolare che abbiamo apprezzato è stato il pensiero avuto per mio figlio minorenne, a cui hanno servito da mangiare come a noi con una bottiglia di acqua ovviamente! Consiglio vivamente la visita alla cantina, 2 ore ben spese.

Una cantina fantastica! essere guidato nella visita dei proprietari è un plus, si può sentire la passione familiare con la quale si porta avanti una azienda trascinata negli anni nei miglior dei modi, continuando con il legacy familiare anche davanti delle difficoltà tipiche del settore.
