In the heart of the Po Valley is the Giovanni Pacchioni Farm, which the Pacchioni family has been taking care of with passion and dedication since 1801. Since the end of the 90s the farm has been run by Giovanni, who converted it into an organic farm in 1998.
Subsequently, in 2003 the first plot of vineyard was planted, supplemented by a second two years later.
Currently the farm consists of 3 hectares of vineyards, 10 hectares of forage meadows and 8 hectares of land cultivated with cereals, all in full respect of man and the environment.
As far as wine production is concerned, Giovanni has once again put himself at stake thanks to his passion for wine. In fact, after having produced wine for several years only for personal use, in 2014 he started production for a wider public, setting up his own cellar from which two labels come out, about 5000 bottles per year, and a lot of passion.
The visit begins with a chat about the farmyard with the owner of the company. Then we go into the vineyard to observe the types of grapes produced and learn about their characteristics. Here you can enjoy open spaces that give you a feeling of great freedom.
Upon return, on request, it will be possible to visit the winery in small groups to see the place where the wines come to life.
Finally, we return to the farmyard for a convivial moment of tasting the wines that take shape here, with the story of their history and characteristics.
