The Azienda Agricola Manuelina, located in the picturesque town of Santa Maria della Versa, represents a jewel of the Oltrepò Pavese, a land renowned for its wine-making excellence. Founded at the dawn of the 20th century by Luigi Achilli and his brother Guido, we have evolved from a family operation to a leading name in the production of quality wines, including the renowned Pinots of Oltrepò Pavese.
Today, Azienda Agricola Manuelina shines with its 22 hectares of lush vineyards, where passion and dedication to the art of winemaking result in wines that tell the story of this unique land. The tasting experiences we offer immerse visitors in the heart of wine production, from harvest to bottle, culminating in guided tastings that enhance the flavors of the land.
We offer two exclusive tasting experiences: a selection of three iconic wines from the winery and Oltrepò Pavese, or an intriguing comparison of four sparkling wines, comparing two Martinotti Method and two Classic Method. Each tasting is a journey of discovery, accompanied by tastings of local products designed to enhance our wines and satisfy every palate.

The pride of our winery is definitely the pinot noir, all hand-picked, with which we produce mainly classic method in the brut, brut rosé and dosage zero versions, but also extra dry Martinotti method both white and rosé, sparkling with a satin cork also in this case white and rosé, and finally, certainly not in order of importance, the red aged at least one year in steel and one year in bottle.
Our other flagship product is Rhine Riesling, undoubtedly well predisposed to a fair amount of aging, again aged at least one year in steel and one year in bottle (awarded the quality/price oscar by Gambero Rosso's Berebene Guide 2023 and 2024).
We also produce a sparkling bonarda that adheres to the project of the Distretto del Vino di Qualità dell'Oltrepò Pavese "La Mossa Perfetta" (Quality Wine District of Oltrepò Pavese) and a still bonarda, aged about a year in large Allier barrels and at least two years in the bottle.
Our range is completed with dedicated dessert wines, Moscato and Sangue di Giuda.
