You will see firsthand how the company takes care of the vineyards and the land, adhering to a philosophy of organic production.
The tour will then move to the cellar, where each phase of the winemaking process will be explained: this is where the company's wines come to life, structure, mature, and refine.
At the end of the visit, we will move to a building from the early 1800s in the historic center of Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The selection of wines can be chosen independently at that moment.
During the tasting, all the unique characteristics of each wine will be illustrated, and you will have the opportunity to taste 5 organic wines and a delicious platter of local cured meats and cheeses.
Host information
The company Massimo Rivetti, with its 25 hectares of vineyards, cultivated entirely using organic methods, offers a range of both traditional and international grape varieties.
The annual production is around 100,000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Langhe Nebbiolo.
The plots are grouped around three farmhouses: Froi, Garassino, and Bussolino.
In the first one, located in the municipality of Neive, is the winery situated on the Serraboella hill, one of the most important for Barbaresco production.
