Since 1891 Aceto Balsamico del Duca has been dedicated to the production and promotion of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO. A tradition that has been handed down for five generations, closely linked to the territory, which guarantees a unique product made from selected, high quality cooked grape musts and exclusively Italian wine vinegar.
It was in 1891 that Adriano Grosoli entered his "Premiata Salumeria" in the register of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Modena.
In the 1970s, Adriano Grosoli, the founder's grandson, decided to distinguish his balsamic with the image of Duke Francesco I d'Este, one of the most famous and passionate producers of the balsamic vinegar that was much appreciated at the court of the Este family.
In 2016, Aceto Balsamico del Duca reached a double milestone: on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, it was fully admitted to the register of the Union of Italian Centenarian Companies.
