ENOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Material of fermentation tanks: 316 stainless steel; Fermentation temperatures: from 22°-25°C; Fermentation duration: 15 days. Mode and duration of pre-bottling aging: 12 months in steel, 24 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE: Taurasi is a red wine of great tradition with a decisive and consistent ruby color. Refined olfactory framework traced by fruity perceptions, cherry and plum, spicy notes of clove and pepper, structured with tannin to monopolize the taste that slowly gives way to the acidic drive and very pleasant smoky and vegetal flavors.
Irpinia is a land rich in cultural and gastronomic traditions, it is the first area in the South of Italy to have obtained the DOCG in 1993 with TAURASI, in 2003 with FIANO DI AVELLINO and GRECO DI TUFO; still today it is the first to boast three DOCGs.
