The Campi Taurasini D.O.C. from "Le Masciare" winery is made from 100% Aglianico grapes , color concentrated intense dark ruby with garnet highlights. The nose offers a broad bouquet of cherry, black cherry, plum and wild blackberry; with varietal notes of anise.The taste is full and balanced with a good presence of tannins that support the aromatic persistence. Accompanies the best roasts, game and aged cheeses. Limited production: 6,667 bottles per year.

PRODUCTION AREA: Paternopoli (Av), Italy
VINEYARDS: 4 Hectares of Aglianico grapes grown in espalier system with spurred cordon on clay soil that tends to be calcareous
WINE HARVESTING: Hand harvesting is done between late October and early November, selecting only the best grapes.
WINE-MAKING: Pre-fermentation maceration of the grapes on cold for about 2 days, followed by fermentation. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for about 15-16 days.
MATURATION: In stainless steel tanks for 20 months, then at least 6 months in bottle.
