Zone of production : Lands located at the contrada Cortecorbo in Montemarano
Type of vinification : The grapes harvested at the time of their full ripeness, after destemming and crushing are subjected to fermentation with intense maceration. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in Troncai, Center and Vosges French oak barrels for a period of 8-10 months depending on the vintage. After a short period in steel barrels, the bottles are left to mature for about 6 months

Organoleptic characteristics : Intense ruby red color. Fruity aroma with distinct hints of spices and licorice. Tannic in a balanced way while maintaining low acidity. Dry, moderately soft palate that goes well with dishes such as cured meats and short-aged cheeses
Yield per hectare at the ratio in grapes : 65 ql./hectare with kg. 1.70 per plant
