Discover the secrets of winemaking in Valpolicella with a visit to Corte Archi, immersing yourself in an authentic experience among our historic vineyards and ancient cellar.
Our tour will guide you through our vineyards, where you can admire the landscape and understand the techniques of vine cultivation. Afterwards, you will visit the cellar, a place rich in charm where wines mature in wooden barrels.
At the end of the tour, a pleasant tasting awaits you, introducing you to six typical wines from the area, with a journey that explores the different nuances of these wonderful wines.
Our visit starts from the ancient cellar where you can observe the wooden barrels and where we refine our wines, then moving to the processing area and the drying room, dedicated to the natural drying of the grapes that will become Amarone and Recioto. Next, a stroll through the vineyard to closely observe the vines and our magnificent territory. Finally, a tasting of six of our most representative wines to fully understand the characteristics of the typical grape varieties: Corvina Corvinone, Rondinella, and ... Oseleta.
Corte Archi
DEDICATION, ENTHUSIASM, LOVE... these are the values that our family has been passing down for over a hundred years, sharing joys and difficulties in life and among the vines with a common mission: to cultivate a passion.
The winery was founded in the early 1900s and is located in the heart of the Marano Valley in the picturesque Valpolicella Classica, managed by Fernando Campagnola since 1995.
In the hills surrounding the ancient winery, the vineyards are situated at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, in a region well-suited for viticulture, where the soil, predominantly clay and limestone, is rich in minerals and particularly suitable for grape cultivation.
All our production is certified DOCG, DOC, and IGT and includes the typical wines of the area.
We cultivate the grapes using low-yield Guyot systems to obtain high-quality grapes that we vinify in our winery, following the SQNPI protocol adopted by the Valpolicella Wine Protection Consortium for greater protection of environmental balance and biodiversity.
Our company carries out the entire production chain from the grape cluster to vinification, from bottling to sales.
Values and traditions such as love for the land and the passionate and constant care of the vineyards are our distinctive traits, as well as the desire for continuous evolution and improvement both in quality and technology.
